For four generations tannery has been our family heritage but, in the meantime, our company has continuosly developed. Flexibility, sustainability and customer care are our strenghts.
In the early 900s Luigi Garavaglia, together with a few partners, set up one of the first tanneries in Turbigo area. Over the years the family Garavaglia-Giudici has been running Piave, Conceria di Cuggiono and M.P.C. tanneries, in addition to some leather business companies, reaching the production rate of 40.000 sq.ft per day and obtaining a strong reputation in the area.
Nowadays Giudici family is still operating as Gipel Srl, a company specalized in chemicals for tanneries. In addition to this, its side company G.P.P. SRL has been developing exotic leather trade, focusing on the production and sale of crocodile, alligator and ostrich leathers suitable for watch-straps, belts, wallets, shoes, bags and garments.
Thanks to its technical and commercial experience acquired over the years, G.P.P. proves to be a reliable partner for research of raw material, development of tanning/dyeing and finishing process, new products and/or simple trading of the above-mentioned leathers. In summary, thanks to its know-how, G.P.P. can create special products according to the requirements of any high range customer and propose the latest fashion products, from ecological tannage to special hand-made finishing. Another sideline business, related to the long-term relationship with several companies in the field, allows GPP to obtain unique business opportunities as stock lots and sometimes really amazing special offers.
